What Goes in Which Cart?

Thanks for visiting Livermore Recycles!

Livermore residents are trying hard to get the right stuff in the right cart, but we know it is challenging sometimes. Twice a year, we do some lid flipping – checking to see what residents are putting in their carts to see if items are being sorted correctly. During our last check, we found that:

Four out of five Garbage carts contain recyclable and/or compostable items…and nine out of ten Recycling carts had bagged or otherwise unacceptable materials, like plastic or food,  in them.

OOPS!
