Community Compost Giveaway Event Results – April 28, 2018
On April 28, 2018, the Public Works Department hosted a free Community Compost Giveaway where residents were able to collect up to two bags of compost at no cost. Approximately 900 households participated at this year’s event, a more than 30% increase compared to last year’s compost giveaway. A total of 36 tons of compost was brought back to Livermore to close the composting loop.
