April 22, 2023 is Compost Giveaway Day!

All the food scraps, food-soiled paper and yard waste that you place in Binny gets processed into rich compost. (Visit the Organics page to see what goes in Binny the Green Organics Cart.)

On Saturday, April 22, Livermore residents may pick up two bags of FREE compost to put back in your garden. NOTE the new location this year:

Where: Livermore Sanitation Office,  7000 National Drive, Livermore
When: Saturday, April 22, 8:00 am til noon, or while supplies last.
Limit: 2 bags per household, ID required (driver’s license or utility bill.)

This is a drive-thru event: please stay in your car, show your ID and pop the trunk!
